The most uncomfortable delivery dispute: "the package never arrived" while the driver swears it did. Without proof, the customer's word wins and the business eats the cost. The delivery PIN closes that hole.

How it works

1
The customer gets a PIN

Their short delivery code is in their order tracking link — and can also arrive by WhatsApp.

2
The driver asks for it

At the door, they request the PIN. Only whoever has the order knows it.

3
The delivery is sealed

Correct PIN = confirmed delivery with time and place. Evidence ready.

4
No PIN, no close

The delivery stays pending and the system does not mark it complete.

Why it works so well

The PIN is trivial for the legitimate customer (it is their code, on their phone) and impossible for someone who received nothing. It kills the false claim without adding friction for the honest one — and when there was a real mistake, it shows immediately too.

Bonus: the PIN also protects the driver. Their work is backed up — it is no longer their word against anyone's.

In VoltGo every delivery can be closed with a PIN: the customer gets it with their order and the confirmation is logged with the exact time.
